Chef Deepak Mishra has spent almost three decades at the forefront of luxury hospitality, with a career spanning Oberoi Hotels, The Hotel Windsor, Hotel Chadstone and The Langham, Melbourne, where he served as Executive Chef.
As Culinary Director at Avani Wines on the Mornington Peninsula, he has explored regional Indian flavours through premium Australian produce and considered wine pairing. His first restaurant, Bungalow 147 by the Bay, brings together that experience, his Indian heritage and European culinary expertise, with the food traditions of Eastern India woven into a menu celebrating flavours from across India.
